SHARK FUND UPDATE: ALL
Thank you to everyone who contributed during this school year 2016-2017!   Only two more weeks to go!!!  However, Shark Fund is still short of its budget for the year and $35,000 more is needed to fully fund all the school programs that depend on your generous donations before school ends on June 9.  All money donated to the Shark Fund stays right at the school – every dollar!  So if you haven’t yet, please contribute now!  We are hopeful that each family will do what they can.  Please go to www.thesharkfund.org  click on  DONATE and enter your credit card, or use PayPal.  Make a one-time contribution or a regular monthly, recurring contribution.  Or mail a check to The Shark Fund, ‪P.O. Box 608, Malibu, CA 90265.  MALIBU HIGH SCHOOL FACULTY AND STUDENTS THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!

WAPO: ALL
More good news to share this morning regarding Malibu High School!  The Washington Post has ranked MHS #531 nationally in its annual Most Challenging Schools list. https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/local/high-school-challenge-2017/

PICK UP: ALL
Many parents are arriving before 2:55pm for pick up causing traffic to back up onto Morning View Drive.  Your students will be in class until 2:55 or 3:00.  Please do not arrive prior to student dismissal.  By doing so, you slow down the entire process for everyone and cause a traffic issue.  If you insist on being here while your student is in class, please wait along the green curb in order to allow traffic to continue to move on Morning View Drive.  To avoid all frustration, show up at 3:10. Thank you!

MUNC PARKING LOT: ALL
No students or parents should be parking in the Methodist Parking Lot.  A specific number of staff are permitted to park in part of the lot but the remaining spaces are needed for the church and their families.  All students should park on campus in the upper lot or on Morning View Drive (Beach Side).  Parents attending events can park on Morning View Drive (School Side) after 8:30am.  The green curb must be cleared for pick up and drop off times.  Thank you for your cooperation.  The modernization project is moving along!
